How to become a co-sponsor
Connect with our team to start the journey. You can come to us with a specific individual or family in mind that you wish to support. If you don't have a specific name, we can help match you with those in urgent need of advocacy.
Reach Out & Identify
Match with a Lead Sponsor
Once a family is identified, we team you up with one of our 100+ partner sponsors. These organizations are the backbone of our financial support system, covering 70% of all costs, including:
Processing and filing fees
Moving and relocation expenses
Health and medical expenses
Legal affairs, asylum claims, and immigration attorney fees
As the co-sponsor, you are responsible for the remaining balance through a manageable downpayment. This typically ranges from $300 to $500, depending on immediate humanitarian needs like clothing, household essentials, or emergency supplies. This commitment ensures the family has everything they need to start the process. Including in this is a place to stay until they can legally enter the United States.
Finalize Your Contribution
The Journey Begins
With the team and funding in place, we officially launch the legal and logistical process. While timelines vary based on specific cases and government processing, the journey typically takes 5 months to one year. We provide regular updates and support to both you and the immigrant/refugee throughout this entire period.
