The AdvitCare Refugee and Immigrant Services believes that the brightest future for refugees and immigrants is built through community. Inspired by the spirit of private sponsorship, we empower everyday citizens to become "Co-Sponsors," providing the financial, legal, and emotional bridge that families need to thrive in their new homes.
70/30 Support
The biggest barrier to helping families is often the overwhelming cost of legal fees and relocation. We gave solved this through our unique Sponsorship Network. We maintain a roster of over 100 Lead Sponsors who believe in your mission. When you step up to help a family, we pair you with these sponsors to ensure the burden is shared:
70% Funding: Our Lead Sponsors cover the majority of processing charges, moving costs, asylum claims, and professional immigration attorney fees.
30% Community Action: Co-sponsors provide a modest downpayment ($300–$500) and the local "boots-on-the-ground" support a family needs to feel welcome.
Our Pillars of Service
Navigating asylum claims and immigration law is daunting. We provide direct access to experienced attorneys to ensure every family has a fair shot at a legal permanent life.
From filing fees to the first month's groceries, we manage the distribution of funds so that no family starts their journey in debt.
We don't just process paperwork; we build neighborhoods. We help co-sponsors organize clothing drives, housing setups, and local orientation for newcomers.
